I'll bet∼也可以講I bet∼，有沒有will，其實意思都一樣。

I'll bet∼是『我打賭……』的意思，指『我猜你會……』、『我很肯定你會……』。所以你可以說I'll bet you don't know my name.，表示我肯定你不知道我的名字。

但當別人跟你講一件事，或問你是否真的有某件事，你知道那回事並非真實，你也可以講反面話，故意說 I'll bet來表示『對啊！怎麼不是！』，暗示著『你想得好美噢！』、或是『有這回事才怪呢！』

這種反諷的說法，英語稱為 sarcastic的說法。

A: Did you get all of the rooms painted?
你把所有的房間都油漆好了嗎？

B: (sarcastic) Yeah, I'll bet I did.
有噢，我敢打賭都漆了。

A: What do you mean?
你是什麼意思？

B: Do you have any idea how long it takes to paint?
你知不知道油漆要花多少時間哪？

A: Oh, sorry.
噢，對不起。
I thought it was pretty easy.
我以為那是很簡單的。
