Nuclear Weapons |
|
|
核子武器 |
|
|
Some people may
have read in history books about the atomic bombs used
in World War II. Many countries have been negotiating
to reduce their arsenals of nuclear weapons now. Despite
their efforts, and the expectations of millions, nuclear
weapons continue to threaten all of us. Indeed countries
such as North Korea and Iran have been developing nuclear
weapons programs. Some formal agreement should be signed
between countries in order to prevent nuclear war. Everyone
on this planet wants to be part of a nuclear weapons-free
world.

Asking me to find my kindergarten
classmate would be like looking for a needle in a haystack,
since we haven't had any kind of contact for decades.
