什麼！水有壽命！？ Does Water Expire?

　　While there is no technical expiration date for water, the issue of it being unsafe to drink stems from its method of storage. If stored properly in a sanitized container, tap water normally can be kept for up to six months. The situation of water stored in plastic bottles might differ a little, though. It is necessary to refer to the label and not drink it beyond its expiration date. This is because the plastic can leak into the water and contaminate it with chemicals.

　　雖然水沒有嚴格的到期日，但水無法安全飲用的問題源於其貯存的方式。如果自來水妥善貯存在消毒過的容器中，通常可以保存長達六個月。不過，貯存在塑膠瓶的水情況可能有點不一樣。一定要查看標籤，而且不要在過期後飲用。這是因為塑膠會滲入水中，且其化學物質會汙染水。

可愛迷人的開運小貓 Maneki-neko: When Cuteness Meets Good Fortune

The story of the lucky cat
　　If you have ever been to Asia—particularly Taiwan or Japan—then chances are that you've come across at least one adorable little cat statue waving at you with one paw raised. This statue is known as a maneki-neko, which is Japanese for “beckoning cat.” In Japan, the way to gesture for someone to come over to you is by holding your palm forward and keeping your fingers pointing down. But the maneki-neko isn't trying to beckon people—it's trying to invite good luck.

開運貓的故事
　　如果你曾去過亞洲 ── 特別是臺灣或日本 ── 那你可能會偶遇至少一個可愛的小貓雕像，舉起一隻手向你招手。這個雕像被稱為「招財貓（maneki-neko）」，是日語「招財貓」的意思。在日本，要示意某人過來的方式是將手掌向前、手指向下。但招財貓不是要試著招呼人們 ── 它是試著招來好運。
