Finding Neverland尋找新樂園(上)

1.Where is Neverland? If you ask Peter Pan, the boy who never grows up, he will tell you: 1It's the second star to the right and straight on till morning. But the recent movie Finding Neverland doesn't stop to ask for directions. It shows you how Neverland was discovered in the first place.Neverland is a magical place that exists for children to escape into. It is a world where nobody ever has to grow up. There is always some 2)adventure happening there, and the wishes of children always come true.

The movie Finding Neverland is not another 3)retelling of the famous children's story, Peter Pan. It is based on a play, written by Allen Knee, called The Man Who Was Peter Pan. And who, you might ask, is Peter Pan? Well, he is the hero of Neverland, and Scottish writer James Matthew Barrie brought him to life in 1904 by writing the famous 4)imaginative play, Peter Pan. That play has since been acted out on stage 5)countless times, made into a book, used as a 6)basis for movies, and 7)immortalized in a Walt Disney cartoon.

《尋找新樂園》這部電影並不是又一次改拍兒童故事名著《小飛俠彼得潘》。這部電影改編自艾倫倪所寫的《那個曾經是彼得潘的男人》這部舞台劇。你或許會問，誰是彼得潘？這個嘛，他是夢幻島上的英雄，蘇格蘭作家詹姆士馬修巴瑞一九○四年撰寫那部著名幻想劇《小飛俠彼得潘》，讓他與世人見面。那部舞台劇從此被搬上舞台無數次、寫成書、改編成幾部電影，並因一部華特狄士尼卡通而永留世人心中。
