Case in point, nearly two-thirds of Americans take a staycation every year. Instead of splurging on expensive trips, staycationers are venturing to sites and attractions just a short drive away. Staycations often involve attending local cultural events, visiting theme parks, playing tourist in one’s hometown, or camping in the backyard. |
