Historic Site Meets
Modern Art at MOCA Taipei
Near the Taipei Train Station stands an aged
red brick building that is filled with stories. Now, this historic
building is bursting with creative energy as the Museum of Contemporary
Art, Taipei (MOCA).
Since the opening of MOCA in 2001,
the museum has become a must-visit on Taipei's cultural map.
MOCA has held many performances and exhibitions in different
fields, including multimedia art, architecture, and various
projects by local artists. MOCA also brings art closer to
everyday living by placing contemporary exhibitions all around
us. One project that MOCA organizes lets artists exhibit their
creativity in public spaces. Colorful designs, sculptures, and
mosaics are set up in parks and MRT stations.

在台北火車站附近矗立著一座充滿故事的紅磚老建築。現在，這座歷史建物以台北當代藝術館的身份綻放創新活力。
