Secret Killers of Monterey Bay

California's Monterey Bay has a huge variety of sea life, from tiny shrimp to giant humpback whales. All this life draws the ocean's top hunters—killer whales.

Killer whales are actually a kind of large dolphin. Like their smaller gray cousins, black-and-white killer whales are smart and social. They live in families that are called pods, and they are known for being silent and sneaky killers. Not even sharks will go up against killer whales.
