- Gray skies and the gray contours of the houses and buildings we see do not add much joy to our daily routine.
c. routine n.
Reading English papers in the morning has become part of my daily routine.
- Even if people are at a low ebb, their creative imagination never ceases.
c. cease vi. & vt.
John ceased to smoke at the age of 50.
= John ceased smoking at the age of 50.
- Indeed, it has no limits.
b. no 一字不可再與冠詞 a 並用,因為 no 即等於 not any 或 not a。
d. limit n.
I know my limits, so I'm afraid I can't help you with that job.
- The art is regarded as a kind of typical street painting, but with a twist─the murals are visible only when they are wet.
be regarded as...
同: be thought of as...
This beautiful tomb is regarded as a symbol of eternal love.
- They may contain text messages or pieces of landscape, for example.
c. contain vt. 包含

*toxin n. 毒素
- He used special paint with a water-repellent coating to get such an extraordinary effect.
c. extraordinary a.
Evan had an extraordinary adventure in Las Vegas.
- ... soon inspired South Korean art students studying in Chicago to conceptually transform Seoul, where the rainy season lasts almost a month.
This is the house where I once lived.
b. 根據上述用法,(F) 項應為正選,此處 where 等於 in which。
- In 2015, there was a design competition called the New Blood Awards that collaborated with Pantone, the company that has global authority on color.
collaborate with... 與……合作
Most singers like to collaborate with rappers nowadays.
- The bright and wonderful landscapes digitally created by the students, depicting scenes of water, would come to life on the pavements of Seoul on a rainy day.
The bright and wonderful landscapes digitally created by the students which were depicting scenes of water, would come to life on the pavements of Seoul on a rainy day.
- It could certainly brighten up the gloomy landscape and lift people's spirits up.
a. 空格前有助動詞 could(能)及副詞 certainly(肯定),空格後有名詞詞組 the gloomy landscape(黯淡的沿途景致),得知空格內應置原形及物動詞或片語動詞。
c. brighten up...
I think these new curtains will brighten up the living room.
